HAPPY MOTHERFUCKIN' NEW YEARS EVE!!!

Don't know what you suckers are up to but we're headed up to Mount Snow in VT for some boarding, booze, bar bands (oh hellz yeah), and general mayhem of all sorts! Fuck Yeah! Whatever you're up to, have fucking fun and stick around for 09 cuz shit's only getting better! We will be back shortly, better than ever and ready to take your $ and put a smile/scowl on your tough mug. Do it!

Awesome show!

So the show at Union Pool was fucking fantastic! Apeshit opened up with a sick set of speed laced eye jabs and gut punchers. Gotta give these guys a hand, Pat and Jonny, just got off a plane from South America earlier in the day and came and played this show like it was nothing! Next up was Ancient Sky, who describe themselves as psychedelic, rock, gospel, apt yes. I guess I'm a big "stoner rock" fan, which some bands hate but to me it's a compliment and these guys were intense. Solid dramatic waves of sonic groovieness. And last but certainly not least were Hull, who released a malestorm of brutal headbangers. Their encore fucking rocked! Thanks for the sore neck! I'm still broken from your set. 

Next up for Ancient Sky is January 9 @ Matchless Bar at Driggs and Manhattan Ave in Greenpoint Brooklyn, 8pm. Get stoned and go! Hull will be playing on Dec. 19 @ Fontanas, 105 Eldridge in Manhattan, 8pm with Zozobra, The Austerity Program, Heavy Winged and Cowards. Get drunk and stoned, go and try not to hurt yourself! Apeshit's playing again soon, keep you posted.

College May Become Unaffordable for Most in U.S.

Is everything in this country falling apart at once? I mean wtf? Whose fault is this? Some say that the "government" has purposefully dumbed down the educational system and I guess now some would say even if you were smart enough to go to a good school, if you're poor forget about it, as if they wanted to create a new "serf" class of workers. But did anyone stop to realize that the times are a changin' and that the future was gonna need some smart people who could work with their minds and not just their hands? Shit the people that can work with their hands are starting to disappear too as their jobs are shipped overseas. Enough! I know it's cheap but we need to stop shopping at Wal-mart and start making some quality products here at home. Don't get me wrong, I love the world and have travelled a bit of it so far but we're just shittin' the bed here. Let's get it together. Article here.
