This has been out there for awhile, but a friend just sent it to me and it's fucking funny!

Normally I like to hang in the background even though some of my friends and a few drinks might like to disagree with me on that point, but I was pleasantly surprised when my awesome friend Candice sent me a link to her work, which I had asked for because we are going to be in a group show, Midnight Snacks, together and I'll be hosting it digitally while it travels from Richmond to NYC to D.C. So she sends me her links w/o mentioning this photo that she took Wednesday night that I didn't even want to be a part of. But I think it's such a good photo, in general, especially with my c'mon now what are you up to attitude and the "oh boy" in the b.g. Genius! I didn't even realize she took it. She's good! The show was amazing! Kylesa played to a packed crowd that gave them their all, the best we could considering the size of the space. Like a 75 people packed into a space for 50! Tombs, Tournament, and a last minute addition of Clean Teeth were also way rad. Sorry I missed The Brass. Tried to get a better picture but goddamn it was tough to get past the pit and way too much fun being in it.

Thank god for "childish"! This is awesome! Somebody hacked into road signs in Austin with warnings of imminent zombie attacks! Fucking brilliant! It was described by a public works official as a "pretty childish prank". Good, this fucked up world needs more of these. So this asshole on the left who shot the unarmed man on the right, in his back, while he was on the ground, surrounded by a group of cops, is hopefully get what he deserves as the law is doing the right thing and indicting him on charges of murder, which is what he did. As you may or may not know a transit cop in SF shot an unarmed man in the back as he was face down on the ground! WHAT?! At 2:30 on the video you see in the bottom left the cop pull his gun and at 2:32-3 you hear the shot ring out. Damn. Here are some ways to make your voice heard.

New Ride!

Pretty psyched, went up to Mt Snow for New Years, got some fresh snow, ducked some ropes and destroyed some untracked pow and in the end got a new board, Lib Tech Skunk Ape 62, from a friend at Joe Jones Ski and Sport. Thanks J! Go get one! Pretty!
