My nasty contribution to the Night of the Living Decks Show at Ave A Sushi (Ave A btwn 6th and 7th) which opened last night. Big thanks to the organizers of the event Mike A, Miss Gunns, and Jason McKown for putting together such a rad catalog and poster! Sorry for the crappy pic, the color is way off, but I had to swipe it from the catalog since I was too rushed to take a pic before the show and too lazy to bring my camera to it. The whole show is supposed to be on Fangoria's website but couldn't find it yet. I'll post it if it does. Thanks to all my friends for coming out and the new ones that I met. Transformers Revenge of the Fallen

Transformers 2 is the craziest piece of shit I've seen in a looong time. These two characters are named Mudflap and Skids. They look like the pictures above in the movie. They talk with a "jive" street accent. They slap five and pound fists and talk about bustin' a cap in someones ass and they are proud that they can't read.

And it's ADORABLE

I liken sitting through Transformers 2 to being Lobotomized with a dookie stick instead of a scapel.

So our good friend, Jason, the man behind Affinity Cycles, just went to Tokyo to chill and do some biz with the boys at W-BASE. He was nice enough to bring over the new line of Dienasty tees and bandanas as gifts. Looks like the enjoyed them! Japan is so rad and the people are so cool. For just over $200 Grand you too could own one of these bad ass dinosaur skulls, joining the ranks of such tastemakers like Leonardo DiCaprio and Nicolas Cage. Actually pretty rad if you had the money to blow. Seems that what was once primarily the domain of museums is now, like everything else, considered fair game to anyone with the money to buy. Much cooler and rarer than most art in a similar price bracket, these pieces are being bought and used to decorate the homes of the wealthy. Shame that they get locked away where the public will never see them but damn me if I wouldn't totally buy one of these if I had that kinda loot. More here.
