This Paris based Russian artist, whose work you may remember from collabs with Supreme and Burton, has a high pressure machine that can render your dead body into oil to run your car(not that you'd be driving it, you'd be dead!), light a lamp, or into raw materials that he can then use to make into sculptures! Probably helps to know the language but fun nonetheless. And these videos are bizzare especially the last one where at one point it appears that a conference call is going on between a whale tail and a blaxplotation martial artist, with avibrating phone in the middle. Awesome!

Good Times, Bad Times

So on the way home from Stowe, we get yanked off the road by a Massachusetts state trooper for speeding. Oops. My friend, who's car it is, can't find the registration. It starts to dawn on her that she might not have renewed it recently. Oops. Now the cop has to tow it off the highway, leaving us stranded, halfway back to NYC. Fuck. So this super rad tow truck driver loads us up, takes us to town, where we try to rent a car but the rental place closes at noon on Saturdays and it's about 12:45! Sweet. So the driver goes out of his way to drive us to the middle of town so that we can get on a greyhound a couple of hours later. We yelp a brew pub in town, thank you apple, for some good eats and strong beer, before getting on the bus and getting back to NYC about 6hrs after our scheduled arrival! Tiring but never dull. This always seems to happen to Dave and I! Welcome to the club Caro!

As you may or may not know a transit cop in SF shot an unarmed man in the back as he was face down on the ground! WHAT?! At 2:30 on the video you see in the bottom left the cop pull his gun and at 2:32-3 you hear the shot ring out. Damn. Here are some ways to make your voice heard.

Is everything in this country falling apart at once? I mean wtf? Whose fault is this? Some say that the "government" has purposefully dumbed down the educational system and I guess now some would say even if you were smart enough to go to a good school, if you're poor forget about it, as if they wanted to create a new "serf" class of workers. But did anyone stop to realize that the times are a changin' and that the future was gonna need some smart people who could work with their minds and not just their hands? Shit the people that can work with their hands are starting to disappear too as their jobs are shipped overseas. Enough! I know it's cheap but we need to stop shopping at Wal-mart and start making some quality products here at home. Don't get me wrong, I love the world and have travelled a bit of it so far but we're just shittin' the bed here. Let's get it together. Article here.
